I am delighted to announce the publication of my latest article titled “Introduction to Azure Arc - Managing Infrastructure with Azure Services - Part 1” in the German “windows .developer” magazine’s July 2022 issue. This article, which I had the pleasure of co-authoring with my colleague Shpend Kelmendi, has made it to the cover page!

Azure Arc offers a set of tools for centralized management of infrastructure running outside of Azure. This allows you to use familiar services such as Azure Policy or Azure Monitor and, for the first time, operate services like Azure App Service or Managed SQL Instances on-premises or on another cloud provider.

Azure Arc bietet eine Reihe von Tools zur zentralen Verwaltung von Infrastruktur auf Azure, die außerhalb von Azure betrieben wird. Dadurch können gewohnte Dienste wie Azure Policy oder Azure Monitor verwendet und zusätzlich erstmals Dienste wie Azure App Service oder Managed-SQL-Instanzen on premises oder bei einem anderen Cloud-Provider betrieben werden.
